Fly to Thessaloniki all year round, there are daily flights from Gatwick.

Thessaloniki Makedonia Airport is 208 km from the ferryboat in Keramoti. We can arrange car hire or taxis ( 110 Euro each way at the moment for the taxi ). The transfer time is 2 hours and 15 minutes.

By public bus : take a bus or a Taxi to the bus station Thessaloniki called KTEL. The bus to Kavala runs every full hour. It takes you 2 hours and 30 minutes to Kavala. The price for bus is about 15,-- Euros.

From Kavala ferryboats are going to Prinos harbour on Thassos island. Time for the ferry 1 hour and 30 minutes. Price 3.50 fo the ticket.

Fly to Kavala Airport Megas Alexandros

With charter airlines from May to October. All over the year from Athens with olympic Airlines www.olympicairlines.comtwice a day or www.aegeanairlines.gr daily. Kavala airport is close to Keramoti where we can also arrange car hire or taxis ( 12,-- - 14,-- Euros ) to Keramoti. It takes you 15 minutes to go to Keramoti.

At the ferry port you will purchase a ferry ticket ( 2,20 Euro ) here all ferries go to Thassos and take the 40 minutes ride to Thassos town ( Limenas ) Be sure to catch your first glimpse of the most beautiful emerald island in the Aegean.
